The Galician Cinema & Food Festival is an event combining gastronomy and cinema “made in Galicia.” The fifth event will be held in Manhattan, New York, right in the center of the American market.
Specifically, GC&FF 2019 will be held in two of the city’s landmark locations: New York’s Instituto Cervantes and Cosentino City Manhattan.
It will take place at the same time as Fancy Food, the USA’s most important food show.
The Galician Cinema & Food Festival is our region’s most important promotional event in the United States because it presents, in a single, attractive, tested and growing format, the quality of Galicia and its brands to the target public and professionals in America.
We demonstrate the full potential of Galician gastronomy to the professional market and specialized press in New York, by means of one of our region’s renowned chefs.
We promote Galician brands and products among professionals and the general public by holding a cocktail in the Instituto Cervantes.
We stimulate interaction between producers and purchasers while promoting some of the best Galician beers at Manhattan’s Cosentino City.
Screenings: We will screen the most outstanding movies and audiovisual projects released in Galicia throughout the year.
The 2019 professional program will consist of four days of gastronomy initiatives aimed at professionals.

Esto es algo por lo que hemos apostado desde nuestra primera edición (2015). España como gran escenario para producciones. Incluso celebramos encuentros de cineastas y productoras con el fin de encontrar sinergias y potenciar el networking.
